Para is a flower vase for the tabletop for the Standard Hotel in West Hollywood, California.
I found interesting the culture that there is behind the stars of this hotel. With the help of the architecture of the balconies and the upside down logo, I managed to find a dynamic and vibrant shapes; that never stop spinning like the host of the unusual hotel. The object has different purposes depending on the which side is used.
Para is made of aluminium sheets, blu marine lacquared inside and white ivory on the outside.It can be used as a flower vase or if you flip it upside down you can use as ashtray while you smoke your Marlboro red next to the swimming pool.
